Imagine Miranda Lambert and Lynyrd Skynyrd living
in a modern pop world: sassy country, southern
rock, & songs so catchy they’re stuck in your head
for days. Melissa Lee is a stylistically innovative
25-year-old super star on the rise.
Melissa has been
performing 200+ shows a year since she was
19-years-old & has opened for artists such as Cole Swindell, Brothers Osborne, Josh Turner,
The Marshall Tucker Band, David Allan Coe,
Joe Diffie, Rodney Atkins, The Kentucky
Headhunters, LANCO, William Michael Morgan,
Walker Hayes, Tyler Farr, Jeff Carson, Buddy
Jewell, Doug Supernaw, Saving Abel &
Pop Evil. Melissa also toured with the ACM award winning band Confederate Railroad, performing for national fairs & festivals throughout the country. Her most memorable performance during that time was singing alongside country music legend Charlie
Daniels at the Dallas Bull.
Melissa originates from Michigan, where she started touring full-time in 2015 with an
all-girls group called Girls With Guitars.
In 2016 she
sold out Michigan casinos as the only female singer in a
“tribute to the Grand Ole Opry”.
She moved to Nashville in 2017 and was
immediately hired as a performer in The Music
of Nashville- an elite group whose weekly
performances at the Texas Troubadour Theatre
rated #2 on Trip Advisor, with the Grand Ole Opry
being #1. Her picture was on 11 billboards, in the
entrance windows and all throughout Opry Mills &
other miscellaneous places throughout Nashville.
During that same year, Melissa recorded a full-length album at
Mainframe Recording Studio, featuring top of
the line musicians such as Bobby Randall (founding
member of CMA award winning group Sawyer
Brown), Dink Cook (current bass player for Toby
Keith), Mark Beckett (current drummer for Olivia
Newton-John), Joe Spivey (current fiddle player
of The Time Jumpers) & Mark Oliverius (former
keyboardist for Lorrie Morgan).
Melissa returned to her home state at the beginning of
2018 for an album release concert where she sold
out Kewadin Casino.
In 2019 she won “Female Country Vocalist of the
Year” in Review Magazine.
Melissa is currently working on a new album in Orlando, FL.
