John’s favorite places to hang out as a kid were his parent’s and grandparent’s record cabinets. Count Basie, Foreigner, Billie Holiday, Glenn Miller, Burt Bacharach, Queen, Billy Joel, Bill Evans and Michael Jackson… there was a lot to get lost in. Now, as a singer and multi-instrumentalist, John couldn’t be happier to have been born and raised in Tampa Florida. While attending several magnet schools with a focus on the performing arts, he started to write and collaborate with friends and took the stage with his guitar for the first time at age thirteen.
Before graduating high school, John had been a part of nearly ten active bands, recorded five EPs and two full-length albums. This continued as he reached his twenties and beyond, continuing to write and record with bands, and solo artists alike. Today, John continues to write and wants to bring the authenticity and connectivity of live music to as many people as possible. Creative, exciting and unexpected covers/renditions are his specialty.
