How long is a typical band set?

Each booked band’s set can differ in length based upon the type of special event. At The Music Bureau we like to custom tailor all set to accommodate the client the best we can. For bands we typically like to do 30-45 minute sets with a 15-20 minutes of break in between.

How can I get myself or my band booked by The Music Bureau?

If you would like to be considered for The Music Bureau roster, please send an Electronic Press Kit (we prefer EPKs over hard copy press kits) to booking@bookmusicbureau.com. Promotional materials should include audio and/or video links, a brief bio, pictures, song lists and a list of venues where you have performed. Also, make sure to include any social media links. DJ’s we ask that you provide a mix or video of you playing in a venue. We look forward to hearing from you!

 

What if I don’t see the band I want on the site?

No worries! We work with an extensive network of musicians across Florida. We change out our showcase roster n the site often based on availability with touring and other factors. We have the ability to book numerous acts that can fit the sound you are searching out for your venue, event, and/or wedding. What type or level of production/PA/sound and do I need for The Music Bureau artists?

Most of our local acts are self-sufficient and will provide their own sound system for smaller venues and special events. However, every scenario is different. For larger festivals, special events, large scale venues, and weddings we will work with the buyer and our production team to ensure the sound and lighting is sufficient to fit the level of the show.
